Editorial Policy & Sources

How we create content you can trust, and how we respect the work of others.

Original content

Every article, game prompt, challenge, and illustration on this site is created by our team or commissioned with full usage rights. We do not copy text, images, or videos from other websites, books, or apps.

How we use sources

  • Facts about health, nutrition, and the body are based on published research and trusted health organisations.
  • We summarise findings in our own words and link to the original source at the end of each article.
  • Short quotations, if ever used, are clearly marked and credited.
  • The classical Kama Sutra text is centuries old; we write our own modern explanations rather than reproducing any specific translation.

Evidence ratings

Wellness articles carry one of four labels:

  • Strong evidence: consistent results from good-quality human studies.
  • Some evidence: promising but limited or mixed human research.
  • Weak evidence: mostly animal, laboratory, or anecdotal data.
  • Myth: research does not support the claim.

Expert review

Health articles are marked as drafts until reviewed by a qualified professional. Once reviewed, the reviewer's name and credentials appear on the article.

Images

We use only original illustrations, images we have licensed, or images whose licence explicitly allows our use, with credit where the licence requires it.
